car interior nicotine yellowing removal

Whats the best way to get the off color off a cars say door where there is the plastic like liner just under the window? I dont want to bleach it but window cleaner and paper towels do not work. just wondering if there is a method for this? im not talking about apulstry or howerver you spell that but you know what i mean. thanks for any help!

Simple Green works very well on nicotine stains. But nicotine will dye the vinyl
and you may never get all of the brown color out .

Windex cleans it, Pledge restores it.

Sunlight dish soap applied dry first ...rubbed in then apply water....thats how I clean my greasy hands now....best hand cleaner around when done dry first
