I am getting ready to start the rebuild of my carbs on my 225 Evinrude Ocean Pro. I found the gasket and float kits at a local marine store (Beach Marine Service, Port Canaveral) for $19.95 each!

So I was wondering if this is a good carb cleaning solution to soak my metal parts in ...

I found it at Advance Auto Parts. Is this the "good stuff" or is there anything I need to know in relation to using automotive cleaners as opposed to a marine cleaner. I figure its al lthe same, but its easier to just ask! I figure its pretty good stuff because on the warning label, it "causes blindness"... Thats GOT to be the good stuff there!!!

On a related note, and strangely enough, if you type in "carburator cleaner" into the search on both Boat US and West Marine's website, you get listings for "flip flops" ...! ... you have to type in "carb" cleaner, not "carburator" ...
