You can use an automotive carb cleaner on your carbs. Just don't spray it on any plastics, or any material not metal. I also wouldn't spray it into carbs of running engine too much either. It can wash the oil off internal engine parts of a 2stroke engine if sprayed in for too long. For that you should probably use a marine decarbonizer/ cleaner meant for 2strokes.
