have a set of carbs off a 1978 115 rude,would like to install on my 1979 140 rude, are the carbs the same? main jet difference? what would I have to do to convert them to perform on the 140?
Bolt them on and go. Personally I'd soak them and install kits. I doubt you'll see much difference on top end, acceleration may be a touch better, mileage may improve very, very slightly.
