carb help

i have a 1969 55hp johnson haveing carb problems i have a set of fixed carbs off a 70 johnson the i think will bolt up can any one tell me if this will work thanks

If the venturi measures the same size...they "MIGHT" work. You will have to do some jetting though.<br /><br />TMD

They will bolt up although you may have to do a little jetting. The newer ones don't have choke plates so you could upgrade to the injection primer.<br /><br />Good luck!
