Does anyone know what the differnce if any from stock 85 175 johnson to an 86 200 johnson carb jets i blew my 175 up 2 years ago and end up getting a 200 from this feller and im sure he used my old carbs but is there any differnce in jets and if so change them out and can anybody tell me about the BOYESN POWER REEDS from past experince of the performance and weather it a good investment

The carbs might be a different size. Changing jets only richens or leans the air/fuel mixture. It doesn't increase the amount of air/fuel flow

I just put carbs from an 86 150xp evinrude on a 77 175 evinrude, the carbs were 1/16'' bigger, so i left in the bigger orfices to account for the more air flow, you will wanna run a little on the rich side. Unless you race. Running rich will give more fuel/oil mixture. You want more oil if in doubt.
