Carb Kit for 1999 43GL PEFS

Help, VP doesn't sell a carb rebuild kit for my motor. I have a VPN 3858331 two barrel holley carb (maybe a 80402 or 80320). My local VP dealer said that VP doesn't sell the "Repair Kit" VPN 3854020.

Does anyone know what the real Holley part number for the carb so that I can research it that way

OR

know where I can get a VPN 3854020 "repair kit"

Call Holley's support center from their website and give them all the numbers stamped onto the air horn of the carb. They will give you the correct numbers, with proper pieces and instructions for the marine carb, and you can get them all over the place.

Iboats may have them, and if not, then summit racing, jegs, etc....typically carry them cheaper than marine stores.

"...75005-1 was made just for Volvo Penta and we do not show a kit for it. You will need to get it from Volvo Penta Thanks Ricky"

When I told them that
"Volvo discontinued the kit in 2012. I tried very hard to get some support from them and my dealer but got nowhere. I was hoping you could direct me to a kit that would at least be close enough. Thanks for all your help, "

Customer service that includes "...best shot..." is priceless.

However, it seems adjusting the idle mixture screw in combination with the idle throttle has improved things.

A search for that kit part number on google shows it as the very first item here on iboats for $38.....

You can probably rebuild with a kit from your local parts store, I suspect most of the parts from a holley 2300 2bbl will fit. I rebuilt my 4.3 GS 4bbl with a holley 4160 kit a couple of seasons ago.
