Carb Kit

I have never attempted any motor repairs before...<br />But I need to put a carb kit in a 68 Johnson 9.5. Is this possible for a first-timer using a manual? Don't want to jump into the deep end when I am not so sure I can swim yet. Thanks.<br />Dustin
