I have a 90hp 3 cyl Merc serial# OC253175 with rebuilt carbs that still leak when the engine is tilted for trailering. Is this normal or can it be fixed? Engine runs fine.

It's just dripping from the primary jet in the carb throat. Next time you trailer it, disconnect the fuel line, start it and let it run its self out of fuel. Should stop ur dripping and reduce the chance of gummed up carbs.

Some dripping is normal, when motor is tilted. I do not recommend running the motor out of fuel, since one carb will empty first and then run on on oil, until the others run out of fuel. It may do no damage, or it might.
