My carbs have been dripping fuel out of the throttle bore all season. I've adjusted the floats a couple times now. I've got my float set so it still hangs a little low when its shut but I'm not sure if I should close it more, the motor runs well and I'm afraid of leaning it out too much.

Re: Carb leaking fuel

Please post make and model number and serial number if you have it. When was the last time you rebuilt it? Sounds like you need a new seat and needle valve

oh yeah guess that would help. Its a 79 chrysler 140. I rebuilt the carb this past winter but did not replace the needle or seat. THe seats in my carbs are pressed in, are they replaceable?
