I had posted a few days back with stalling problems when throttling up on 1976 70 hp Johnson. After going back over link and sync and back through carbs a couple of times with the same results I used the search feature here and after looking through a lot of old post found mention of a service bulletin on this motor. Ezeke was kind enough to forward the info by e-mail. After studying the info we performed the modifications as per the instructions given. Re-installed the carbs, went back over link and sync and then down to the bayou for test run number???? who knows? Put her in the water , adjust the idle speed a bit and now for the moment of truth. Give her the guns and what do ya know it's off to the races. It performs great now all throughout the powerband--idle, transition, to top end!!!.
