Carb Problems?

I have an 88' 85 hp force. I have good blue spark on all cyl. No. two is not firing, and I'm dumping fuel out of the exhaust.
Compression is good-145 on all three cyl. Any Ideas on the problem? My guess is carb, but all have been taken apart and cleaned by professional. It just started this yesterday, three weeks after carb cleaning, also everything has been done to fuel supply, i.e. clean fuel, water seperator, new fuel lines, fuel pump diaphram, etc.. any suggestions?

Re: Carb Problems?

do you have spark on #2? If you do and it's not firing, check your fule pump/diaphragm, #2 cylinder provides pulse for pump, you may have a torn diaphragm or bad check valves, which is flooding out the cylinder to the point that it can fire.

Thanks for helping me out Jkoppe73, yes I have blue/white sperk on no. 2 cylinder. The pump diaphram use recently replaced, but not the check valves. I'm going to re-check compression this evening and see if I can get hold of a fuel-pump pressure tester. I have a book (clymer). Haven't cranked the motor today but fixin' to. The thing with Force parts is you can't just go down the street and by'em' and they are expensive. I thought about fuel pump today, just haven't done anything yet. Will be back in touch when I get her cranked up and do a little more probing. Thanks again. D.W.H. Troutman, N.C
