I have a 1993 Merc 4.3LX with full closed system. I recently purchased the Edelbrock aluminum Performer 2111 intake manifold for my Webber 4brl. The new mani doesnt have the mounting platform for the Webber carbs non electric choke. I dont want to have to buy a new carb if I dont have to, what can I do???<br /> Thank You!!

I'd Think it'd be Easier to get the Right Manifold with the Choke Stove Pocket in it.......

Re: Carb Question (Webber)

I ended up replacing the stock choke with an electric choke, figured I would rebuild it also (it's only been 13yrs Ha Ha). replacing the manifold wasn't that bad, Edelbrock has install instructions on the web site. Toughest part was keeping the old gasket and gunk out of the motor, even with it sealed up.
