i have a merc 115 6cyl been having fuel problems & got a lot of help in diagnosing the fuel issue from this site. I have done the test to see if i am getting air in my fuel line & it came up clean. I went ahead & disassembled the fuel line & check the ball checks & they all are functioning i noticed some debris that appears to be from the rubber seal at the fuel tank connection had polluted my primer bulb i went ahead & started the motor w/muffs and it fired uo the fastest & best it ever has. I know that does not mean much as far as a load test but i am still having my primer bulb be somewhat restricted and collapsed while priming the engine to start although it pumped up very well but never got " hard. I figure the next step is to clean the carbs as i am sure some debris has found its way inside. I am curious as to whether i missed a step in the diagnostic end if not any advice or directions to links on removing and cleaning the carbs including the welch plugs. Any info sent my way is, as always much appreciated
