Ayuh,....... The quadrajet is a variable venturi carb that can flow 'bout 800 cfm,.....

Yer 4.3l is very happy with a 650 cfm edlebrock 1409 though,....

yes, with a re-tune (rods, etc)

Ok, so i put the qudrajet on the 5.7, it runs great, accelerates nice and pulls hard, once at full throttle top speed it seems to be starving for fuel, im going to pick up an edelbrock carb, just looking for opinions on 600 cfm #1409, or 750 cfm #1410?

its the same carb, just different tuning.

you really need to read up on tuning the edelbrock carb (same as tuning a rochester)
