carb rebuild '85 Johnson 150 retainer clip?

I am in the process of cleaning and rebuilding carbs on my 150GT. I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight as to where the retainer clip for the needle goes. I have the exlpoded view but that isn't giving me a very good idea on where to attach it to the float.

it snaps into the recess on the push end of the needle. (look at the other carbs)

thanks. i will clip it on there but where does it attach to the float? i have only taken apart the top carb and it didn't have a retainer clip on it. does it just clip on the needle and rest on the float or does it attach to the float somewhere?

it clips on the needle and rests on the metal float arm

that was perfect. thank you. there wasn't a retainer clip in any of the carbs when i took it apart. i put one on all 3 when i reassembled them. i got it all back together and she started right up in the driveway. i am lake testing tomorrow. thanks again for all the help.
