Got a 1995 force 120hp that is bogging down bad. Changed plugs, changed fuel filter, bought and installed water seperating fuel filter, had compression tested, changed all the fuel lines I could find, sprayed carbs with deep creep, ran sea foam through entire fuel system, tried removing gas cap while on the water running, tried choking while running, (didnt make a differance!) So I tried disconnecting choke, tried high test fuel, added a octane booster, tried sea foam in the main tank,......all for nothing!!! figure I will rebuild Carbs before I start to check the electrical system. Here's my problem now!! First my engine has 2 carbs, so do I need to buy 2 rebuild kits?, Do I need to buy a gasket kit also? (or does that come with the rebuild kit?), And do I need to buy a needle and seat too(or does that come with the kit?)? Also I am having trouble with the part number? I've been told I need NAPA part # 18-7037 but that did not cross to the Mercury part number FK10103-2 according the the NAPA manager and his catalog. According to his catalog 18-7037 crosses to fk10004,fk10005,fk10007,fk10008,Fk10027,Fk10057,Fk10108, and Frk739. but no Fk10103-2. I am also having a problem with the Mercury web site to order the part, could someone check it for me? Everytime I put in the closest dealer it takes me back to Zip code. Thanks! Bellybuster!!
