Carb rebuild kits

I've a novice's question. I'm considering rebuilding the carbs on my 1988 70hp merc.<br /><br />When purchasing a rebuild kit, what can one expect to be included in the kit? I would assume local gaskets, but what about any front and rear gaskets. Would jets be separate, what about springs.<br /><br /> <br /><br />Best

Just installed the contents of 4 carb kits on my '86 rude. Came with all necessary gaskets (front/rear etc.), a new float, new float needle valve and valve seat. My carb didn't have any springs, so I don't know about that. Jets were definitely not included.<br /><br />Good luck!

Hi Davidr<br /><br />Carb kits come differently from different suppliers. From Napa, your kit comes with just the necessary gaskets....(probably all you'll need)
