Hello guys!
I am taking a software documentation class at college and one of the assignments is to create a manual of a non-technical nature. So naturally, I decided to create one on how to rebuild a carburetor :D . I was wondering if you guys would take a look at it, and verify that everything I have is accurate, and looks good. I had to keep it under 5 pages, so I left out removal of the welch plugs, but I could easly add it if you find it would be a useful how to on this website.
How to rebuild a Carb

Thanks again guys for your infinite wisdom!

Nice! The only thing I would add is to blow out the carb orifices with compressed air before reassembly to dislodge any small particles that may be lurking in there after a good soaking.

Job well done. I am not an expert, but it seems to be very clear and well documented. I do remember some talking about how to set the float correctly. I think you turn the carb upside down or something like that.

Thanks guys!
Dave, I will definitly add that.
Fishon, that is what i was trying to show with figure 12, I guess I should point that out more. The distance should be the same at both the front and rear of the carb.

In the photo, fitting #8, or B is not an air inlet. It is a fuel nipple to supply the manual primer. You could also show the correct screwdriver to remove the fixed jets'. Other than that, it looks fine.

That is a great manual. The pictures with arrows are great. Most manuals now don't have enough pictures to really show you how to do it but yours is great.
