That is a good video to watch when doing a carb for your first time, I always post it myself. However, more often than not when the jets are not removed, the owner often wonders why the outboard still does not perform as it should. Those jets are often overlooked, yet should not be. The tool to remove them is easily made with a belt sander and screw driver, or Im told that a certain model works as is, maybe someone can jump in here and remind me which one that is, Husky maybe?? At the very least, use machinists wire through them, you cannot clean them by simply soaking them in the carb cleaner.
