carb settings on 50hp mariner

Just rebuilt my carbs and counted the idle mixture screw settings to reset after cleaning.<br />The upper carb was 1 1/2 turns, but the lower was only 1 turn is this common to have carb settings that much out of sycro.?

As the engine starts to age you will get a variance of carb settings.<br /><br />TMD
