1989, Bayliner, 5.7 alfa 1, thunderbolt ignition, Quadrajet 4 barrel. my Question is what "good" carb can i swap the Q-jet with that will bolt right to the existing manifold. Also what linkage changes would have to be made if any, choke operation changes? i believe eldebrock makes a carb for this operation but not sure if the bolt patern will work and if the linkage would have to be changed, also the spark arestor, would the existing spark arestor need replaceing? any expierence on this?
