Re: carb sync question

On every motor I've seen, with the controls wide open, the throttle plates are supposed to be perfectly horizontal.

You might also want to raise the motor up a hole or two on the transom....this is something you'll have to play with. I've noticed that most toons are terribly over proped. What works on a boat hull don't work on a toon.

Re: carb sync question

i rebuilt carbs and plugs replaced wires and fuel bulb and installed filter, also did fuel pump rebuild runs better but still 4700-4800 rpms. i noticed that water was shooting up in front of engine where it mounts to transum noticed that engine is hanging down below water line and draggging in water so i moved it up 2 holes now about half inch out of water. havent retried yet .but i think im on to it
