Carb wasn't the problem...Any suggestions?

I'm back. I rebuilt my card a couple of weeks ago. http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=254980

Anyway, I had 3 good runs with the boat and it's acting up again. Saturday I ran it for 10 minutes, had it turned off for 5 min., then had a hard time getting it going. I had to press on the throttle pin to get it going. Then yesterday I started it up from cold, it idled for about a minute then stalled out. I couldn't keep it running without pressing on the throttle pin. We are on an island and the only way for me to get back to main land was to have someone else steer while I held the throttle pin for about 5 min. then it ran fine until we got to the dock on mainland and I slowed it down and it stalled. Any ideas? It starts, it just doesn't want to keep going.
I've changed the gas tank, gas line, spark plugs, and rebuilt the carb. Thanks!

The Carb has been cleaned and rebuilt, so that shouldn't be the problem. I have a fuel filter, I've taken off the connection and it seems clean, is there anything I should be looking for?
I guess I'll try replacing the gas lines in the motor. Does it not seem odd that it only does this sometimes and other times it runs fine?

Have you tried another fuel tank? Could be a clogged pickup, cracked pickup tube, air leak into suction side tubing, anti-syphon valve, etc.

a carb can be clean today, and something that was crusted, or deteriorating, and clog it tomorrow. it does not take much.

wilde1j - New gas tank, new fuel line....same problem.

tashasdaddy - Does the fuel pump require electricity to operate? Could it be an electrical problem.

I think I may have solved my own problem (I hope!) I should probably open the vent on my new gas tank! This I hope will solve my problem although my squeeze bulb wasn't collapsing, in fact it was hard than usual?!
Now I have to wait until friday to try this out. AAAHHHH... the agony of waiting!!
