Hello fellow boat owner

Today I started up my boat after rebuilding the carbs, I notice gas dripping out of the bottom card , then it started to drip out of the top,,,,, carberator the motor runs great I just don't know why the float valves are not sealing off the gas.

First I thought it was the fact that I had the motor trimmed up and it was just dripping out of the top of the carburetor. Now I don't know what to do next never seen it do this before. Why are they hanging up like they're doing the floats. I may have to give it up for this year going out on the boat

what motor? there is a pin that holds float in place did you loose or forget to put them back? these are steel/metal pins they don't groove easily. meaning loose there ability to seaL DID THEY LEAK BEFORE YOU OPENED CARBS? If not something you did or didn't is causeing this.

Hello and thank you for responding

84 Yamaha Pro the 150

And the gas was running out slow down to just a single drop at a time and it would pick up again in a few minutes into running the motor the top carburetor started to drip.
