carbon fiber instead of fiberglass

I am new to boating and I just bought a pontoon that is fiberglass. It has some spots to repair in the right toon and was seeing about using carbon fiber instead of fiberglass. I found some kits for it. I kknow it is stronger but will it work?

So are you looking to make a repair to the pontoon?

Or, the deck?

Either way, CF is either not appropriate or unnecessary (respectively).

not gonna do you one bit of good.....repair fiberglass with fiberglass.

Even if you had someone that gave you the CF .. unless you Know what your doing Dont use it.

Id say go with VE resin and some mat + ? depending on what you have there ..

I have pictures of the bottom toon on the pontoon section under 1988 ski cat. Thanks for the info.
