Over the fourth I found out I have mis-matched carbs on my 1987 85HP. I this a big deal? Also if I were to look for a "set" which model has the screw in seats ect, and can I use them on my motor.

Can you post pics? Are you referring to the part numbers of each carb not being the same or the physical appearance of each carb?

ugh replaced the float needle and seat with the correct one now i cant get it adjusted. either wont seat and leaks fuel from the overflow and jet on the side. or it starves for fuel. top carb markings are 631061 WE9-1 11/86 middle carb 632061-1 WE18-2 12/86 bottom carb 632061-1 WE18-2 1/87. I am assuming the PO swaped the top carb I would like to find a set with the better float needle and seat, because the rubber seat with the retainer clip sucks. Any explanation of the part #"s would be helpfull in my srarch for a carb set
