Does the needle valve screw on a 65hp 1973 model have a blunt squared off end on it? I bought a carb kit and saw that the diagram included in the kit to show a needle valve with a tapered end on it, (needle). The model number of the motor is 65373R. The number on the carb is 318505-D5. I have a picture of the screw, but couldn't figure out how to include it in this post. All three carbs have the same type screw in the low speed adjustment hole. If the needle screw is suppose to be tapered where do I get them.

Look in the where the screw goes in Mc...you should see a low speed jet orifice. Your carbs don't have an adjustable low speed needle.
