Re: Carburetor floay

Now what about fuel mixture and the best rpm range to operate it at
I'm using 24-1 right now to test it and all that fun stuff. Also this motor has a broken prop witch I'm going to order. this motor is going On a 16' Starcraft it came off a 14'4" boat I though about using a 10 inch prop with a 11pitch that what was on it.will this hurt the motor cuz it's a bigger boat?

Fuel mixture should be 50:1. The best way to prop the engine to the boat is by using a tach. If you arn't turning the proper RPM you will not devlope the proper horse power. Usually when you go to a bigger, heaver boat from a smaller, lighter one you use a smaller prop.
