Hi,
I purchased a old 1973 Eska motor during the winter. I gave him a little bit of love (new paint job, new gearcase oil, greased all the component, etc.)
Today I start it for the first time. The engin start easily but 2 things when wrong:
#1 - I have a constant fuel leak from the carburetor. I have disassemble the bowl and the needle... The seal seem a little old ... can I put something (grease ?) on the seal to help doing his job ? I'm not 100 % sure but I think the leakage is from the upper side of the bowl (overflow). The float seem to move correctly.
#2 - I run the motor in water and outside of water. When I run it outside the water I notice a mix of oil and water above de gearcase. I wipe it and the oil reappear 30 sec later. What can I do to correct this issue ?
