Hello Iboaters I find myself with another problem and am hopeing someone can once again help me out. The air cleaner mounting stud coming out of my carburetor has broke off at the point it attaches down in the carb itself.I tried JB weld and it didnt work. I don't see anyway to just replace this one piece and am thinking I will need a new carb.It is a two barrel carb rochester I believe mated to a GM 4.3L V-6 mercruiser.

EDIT:

Thanks,
Leo

I don't see any 2V in the chart either.
I think your boat is telling you it wants a 4 BBL....

there used to be several rebuilders selling marine carbs on eBay.. getting the original part number off the side will help you get the right replacement

If you google that part number, I suspect you'll find several options

I just bought a marine carb for my father's Merccruiser. Did a lot of shopping and found a re-built at J&J Carbs in CA (ph. 800-432-3976). Great price on the 2 barrel I got for his 2.5 litre Chevy block- -$100+$50 core.
