Carburetor Strip Kit..

I'm working on acquiring the components to upgrade my 4.3L engine to vortec heads, manifold, and edelbrock 600 cfm carb (1409). Already have the heads and carb is on its way.

I think it was Bondo who suggested getting the strip kit to tune the carb properly. I am guessing that the Edelbrock #1488 Calibration Kit for the 1409 carb is essentially what the strip kit would be? Just looking for a quick confirmation or someone to correct me if I'm wrong.

Though I haven't been into a Jeg's or Summit catalog lately,....
I Do believe that's Exactly what I was talking about.....

Mine is an old Federal Mogel kit that came with about 8 or 10 sets of Needles, a Full set of the various Spring pairs,+ enough Jets to tune abunch of Carbs......
