I have a 1996 120 HP Force. There is a white plastic screw on top right side of each carb. The parts diagram shows it to be a sealing screw for the Idle Air Jet. Does that screw need to be seated or do i need to back it off any.

On my 1997 it is called F10275 SCREW, Sealing, and no it does not require being loosened. It provides access to the jet below it for inspection or cleaning.

Tighten and leave alone.
On the other side of the carb is the air screw.
There are instructions for setting in one of the first 3 posts in this forum.

Thanks for the feed back. I read the instructions and have the air screws adjusted per the instructions. I seen the plastic white screws and they were a little loose like they had vibrated loose. But have have snugged them up and all is good.
