Took boat out for first time sense I rebuilt powerhead
started fine took off got on plain then was going and then act like it was loaded up at full throttle and bogged way down then stalled tried starting it took a little bit end of taking off air cover to start it heade back got up on plain again a couple of times but still had issues a couple more times but didn’t die when I was heading back to dock my idle was really high
sitting at dock and noticed that gas was only squirting in top carb in idle had a puddle of gas sitting under bottom carb not sure what’s going on

So what motor is this on ?----Carburetors must be cleaned / inspected as part of a rebuild !!------You risk damage to a 2 stroke engine with possibly a plugged carburetor !----And you did install a new impeller I hope.

With the motor idling the motor should respond when turning the idle screw in.-------Best to take carburetors off to revisit the work you did on them as part off the motor rebuild.----Hopefully no damage was done to the motor.-----Carburetors are also the " oil pump " on that motor.

Like I stated no fuel to or in carb. Float, debris under needle, blockage in fuel line or no internal crankcase vacuum to draw fuel thru carb
