Care and repair of aluminum boats

I stumbled upon this Issue of Popular Mechanics from June of 1960. Check out the article on page 162; "Care and Repair of Aluminum Boats." It may be old but it still has some really good info for basic repairs on aluminum boats. Thought I'd share, I thought it was cool, I don't know if any of you guys have seen this article before. Wow, I didn't notice the asbestos article, if they only knew...

These old PM mags are cool, I wish the modern day PM mags were filled with this much useful information.

Very interesting article and nice find. Great looking rig that you have there. Checked out the pics and the lady with the two thumbs up looks excited about having a nice rig like that. Good job.

These old PM mags are cool, I wish the modern day PM mags were filled with this much useful information.

I thoroughly enjoy my current PMs although I agree, there could be more cool projects.

Nice find, some interesting reading. I like the use of asbetos as if it is no big deal.
