Carpet question

I have a 1985 Formula 242LS. It has a small cuddy cabin. The gray carpet was trashed (mold and discolored). I removed it this weekend. I am now looking for carpet replacement that matches. The original carpet was plush and thick, with a heavy, cushiony rubber backing.

Any ideas on where to find a matching replacement carpet? Thanks everyone.

Re: Carpet question

Check any of the larger carpet stores in your area. They may not have it in stock, but they can order it.

To stop the same problem from comming back. DO NOT use any thick plush rubber backed carpet. Use indoor-outdoor or poolside types, they will dry out faster, IFFF you leave the cuddy door open and the deck hatch open, to let the moisture escape when the carpet gets wet.

Re: Carpet question

In Minnesota we have a place called "Fleet Farm" that sells indoor/outdoor carpeting for about 1/4 of the price you'd pay for the exact same thing at a carpet store. I'm about to recarpet the boat I just picked up today and thats where I'll be buying mine
