I am going to recarpet the inside of my bass boat. I was looking at some new boats yesterday and noticed some black trim around the edges of the carpet.
Does anybody know where I can order that trim?

See attached picture. Up Under the seats.

Thanks

Re: Carpet Trim

My guess would be that they are the removable type carpet panels and that the edges have been serged (sp?) using a special type of sewing machine.

The stuff I was looking in BassPro shops on the new Nitros, had a platic rivet about every 24" or so.

Re: Carpet Trim

looks like they had the carpet bound at the edges of the custom cuts to the shape of the boat. an apoulstry shop or even a carpet store if you call around to a few youll find a place with a binding machine. they charge by the foot 4 that binding. its just like a sewing machine. trust me cause when im not on the water fishing my trade is flooring all of it good luck

Ayuh,........

That Black strip is the edge of the fiberglass, Not the Carpet,.......

It's This Stuff right Here........

Hey thanks, that's the perfect stuff to replace my old bent-up metal fiberglass edging on the inside of the upper deck. I've been looking for something like that.

I wonder if that also wouldn't work on the carpet edges...
