carpeted floor

I'm looking to buy a 17 to 18 foot bowrider (2000-2006). My problem is that everything I find has a glued carpeted cockpit floor. Don't any boats of this vintage (used/affordable) have a fiberglass cockpit to avoid future repair problems?

Yes,

Check e-bay, I see them all the time.

I dislike glued in carpet as well. After I got the Hurricane home, I rolled up the snap-in carted, wrapped in plastic, and placed in storage.

Keep looking there out there!

...Or find one that has been kept covered, then keep it covered and don't worry about it.

My '96 has glued down carpet and is still as solid as the day she was built....
