Carpeting

Hey all,

When I picked up my boat last year, there was a new floor and carpet installed. However, as they were cutting in on some of the edges where the floor meets the sides they kind of gouged it in places. Does anyone know of some kind of trim or something I can put in to make it look uniform?

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

There are several options for this. If your boat is a fishing boat I've seen large diameter rope glued down around edges. There are several aluminum extrusions around to. Somtimes called "J" molding thats thin enough to form around most anything. You should go to a new boat dealer in your area and look at what other manufacturers are doing. I borrow,(steal) ideas from other boats all the time. Hence one of the many reasons why I read this forum
