Hi,
I'm interested in purchasing either the
Carver 350 Mariner, or, the Silverton 330 Sportbridge, (1998 and later).
Has anyone had any experience with either of
these two boats?
Thanks for any info.
Lou
Re: Carver 350 Mariner vs Silverton 330 Sportbridge
They are identical boats (almost)... Carver is a division of Genmar Marine group, Silverton is a division of Luhrs Main Ship group. Both well reputable boat builders.

i would say they are similar in look. However i owned a carver mariner. and i have had 4 new boats, and 2 of which were carvers, and I am in a dock were they sell both new, The mechanics there will tell you as I will attest too...Carver much better made boat..when it comes to the mariner or the 330.
Hull thickness is better on the Carver..workmanship and quality of materials used in my opinion...Thats why the silverton is tens of thousands cheaper to buy....You get what you pay for these days. Also sales on the mariner by carver are 3 to 1 to silverton 330.
Re: Carver 350 Mariner vs Silverton 330 Sportbridge
Similar in look only....However the bridge on the sliverton is Tiny in comparison to the mariner...the mariners bridge is huge and the deck rails are higher on the carver...an advantage for people entertaining family's with kids or adults, and in my opinion also the bow can accomodate more adults, and carver has a really cool bow seat (love seat) which converts to a sun lounge. Not to mention the inside of the carver is bigger.
