Hello all,
Thinking of purchasing a cast net,I fish out of Salisbury MA Plum Island mostly inshore.Next season we plan to do a little offshore and also it seems the bigger fish seem to be taken with live bait, pogeys,bunker etc. I plan on setting the boat up for this because I've been reading it's pretty easy to catch your own bait,and it is usually plentiful in these waters.
Been shopping for net's and there not cheap,lol, and I'm sure like everything else "you get what you pay for" but,as I live in NH and it is illegal to use lead.All of these cast nets seem to use lead.Will I still be able to get one/what are you guy's using in this area if not?
Also any pointers/recomondations in using this practice would be greatly appreciated.
