cav plate at full speed

Where should the cav plate be at full speed? right at water line? just below? Mine is about 2 inches below the water line. Thanks

That may be too low.<br /><br />Most importantly, where is it in comparison to the bottom of the boat?

it is level with the bottom of the hull but it is setback about 4 inches because of a pt35 power trim and tilt unit

I think you have room to raise it. That water passing over the top is drag.

Yep, about 2 full inches because of the setback.
