Re: Cayuga Lake
Re: Cayuga Lake
I have boated on both of them but never crossed on the canal. The canal is well maintained and certainly large enough and deep enough to navagate. In New York nothing is free but the state launches are nice and will cost $6.00 for in and out. Both of these lakes are very deep (600 ft) and cold. There is fairly good fishing around and in the canal for bass. A really nice lake to boat and sight see in is Kueka Lake which is one of the finger lakes in wine country. It has a lot of Lake Trout and Bass.
