have a 1994 pro v 200 model # p200 tlrs which has a hitachi cu 2682 cdi boxthats bad (diagnosed by yamaha tech)have a hitachi cu2681 that everything looks the same can you tell me if this will work and whats the difference in the 2 boxes.thanks

beats me, thats a hitachi number that I cannot access not a yamaha part number.

rod bolt,the cu2682 has a yamaha part # 62h-85540-00-00 the 2681 has a part # of 61h-85540-00-00,just wondering if they interchange and whats the differences in the 2 boxes.thanks

sorry thats simply a question I cant answer, the 6h2 fits the 94 95 models and the 6h1 the 90-93 models.
what actually changed they simply dont tell us.
