Century Bilge problems-2005-20' Please help.

I changed all the fuses today.
I changed the bilge pump and floater switch.
Nothing happens.
Dead.
I noticed that all the rocker switches on the control panel light up red when I turn them on except the switch for the bilge.
Could the switch be bad on the control panel?
Wouldnt the pump work automatically whether the switch was on or not?
I am puzzled?
Thought I check here before I call a mechanic.
Please help.

Welcome to iboats.
You can take a volt meter and test the switch to make sure you have current coming into it and leaving it.
You can also take the wires from your bilge pump and hook them to the battery direct to make sure it is working.
If it is an auto bilge pump, then you should have hooked it up both to the battery for automatic operation and the switch for manual operation.
Also you can check to see if it makes any difference when you turn the ignition switch on.
It should not be wired that way if it does.
Check these things out and get back with your findings.
