hi, my question is,, I have a 1993 60 hp evinrude that does'nt seem to like it's champion plug's.if i dont get the fuel/oil mixed just right or let it idle to long then it seem's to foul out these champion plugs,on inspection the plugs dont look to be [wet]just black from the mixture, and a new set of plugs always fixes it right up.my quetion is, are ngk's ok for a evinrude motor, they are the best thing going on most other 2 cycle engines,i've had other fishermen to say to make the change while others said that the ngk was to hot a firing plug, thanks for the help,,magnum1954

Hi, Tim.

What Champion plug are you using? Why are you replacing them rather than cleaning and regapping (.040)? Waste of bux.

OMC specified Champion plugs.
