change from 50hp to 60 hp john

I blew a 50 hp 83 johnny.I replaced it with a 60hp 89 johnny. The weight of my boat on the trailer seems to be a lot heaiver .There is no water in my boat and the drain is not clogged.Can a ten hp change make a boat that much heavier?????????????
