Has anybody else noticed the change in the personality and apearence of our Prez?
Is it fatigue, drugs, stress, alcohol or just plain losing it?
He appears drawn out, unable to speak proficiently and coheirently. Saw a clip this morning and he kept repeating himself when speaking. Just my observations.

Stress and fatigue would be my top 2 choices.
I can not imagine the stress he is going through with all that's going on in this Country and abroad with our troops.

P.S. If you want to ask a serious question, why not use the man's right name?

Those are just symptoms of speaking without prepared remarks, nothing to be concerned about.

Yes, i have noticed a pronounced change in him. His last press conference, he told it like it was, without his normal statesman-like demeanor. He appears to have lost his patience, if not, his mind, over the constant whining from stupid questions from the predominantly left media .
I for one, was impressed.
Rip em a new one, Gee-Dub!!

Love him or hate him, thats our president, plain spoken and uncomplicated, i like George for those qualities.

The only President in my lifetime who did not age visibly and significantly while in office was Reagan. He aged some, but it wasn't so obvious as others.

he's probably worried about Cheney's surgery.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Vice President **** Cheney will undergo an elective surgery next weekend to treat an aneurysm in an artery behind his right knee.

The condition, discovered earlier this year during a routine checkup, needs to be treated "as to not become a problem over time," Steve Schmidt, counselor to the vice president, said Friday.

...

No i did not forget, GW delegates and makes his decisions accordingly, as any good leader does, how else could he take such well deserved but frequently interupted vacations.
This president does not work hard, he works smart ;)

Re: Change in George Bushka?

Speaking of aging, has anyone seen George senior next to Clinton in the hurricane aid commercials? George senior still has color in his hair while Bill's hair color has left his head. Naw,,, Bill probably puts gray in his hair to make it look like his past presidency made him age.

Personally, I like it when PC is tossed out. Makes it easier for most of us to understand then. Just makes me wonder how other past presidents would have handled things that has happened in the past 6 years or so. Got to admit that a lot of terrible things have been written into history during this period of time.

i think he is simply thinking on his feet. it's difficult to script write for stuff that's happening in real-time.

Well put, and W is only showing the age as of recent. Has not aged as fast as most others.

On a different note, Pres. Clinton aged very rapidly over the 8 yrs..... Of course so did her husband too.

Re: Change in George Bushka?

I personally think that circumstances are finally catching up to him, and he is learning that you can't lead by cliche alone.

We are finding out that after forming a new department, Homeland Security, and spending billions of dollars, we are finding out thru the hurricanes that little, if any progress has been made to make us secure.

After spending billions of dollars in Iraq, and costing almost 2,000 American lives, it seems that if the best result happens we will create a new Islamic state that doesn't like us--the worst case will be an all out civil war over there with no one knowing what the heck will turn out from that.

And domestically, government is growing exponentially, we are spending money like drunken sailors, and we have a fiscal plan that counts on China loaning us money for this spending spree, all the while steadfastly protecting the tax cuts for the wealthy.

With all this going on, you'd get worn out, too. Especially when cliches don't seem to satisfy anyone anymore.

To quote GWB, "It's hard work"
