change wiring or not

my boat is an 1980 marlin....wiring is still there and other than some stuff in the bilge area is still not cracked or hacked up. normally I would change it but im not sure new wire is any good lol I see a lot of wire failures in new cars. what do you think...jimmy

If it's working, leave it. Repair as needed.
