Hi,

I had a sticking needle and seat in one of the carbies in my 115HP V6 Blueband Mercury.

After replacing the needle and seat, the carbie seems to be working fine except the motor works ok at high revs but does idle properly. Do you think I need to adjust the idle screw on this carbie and if so how should I do it?

Not sure.Look at the linkage. If it has a round plastic piece on the throttle plate,it's a Tilotsen carb, and you undo the nut that runs tru the plastic roller, turn it a little, and tighten it back up. The plastic roller is concentric, and you can make small adjustments there.
